(Oxford Dictionary)

accurate, clear, reliable

Driven by curiosity in how language works and having a passion for detail, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Brighton University (UK). As a native English-speaker I continue to work with and test the boundaries of language, drafting and correcting texts in a world where English serves as the lingua franca for so many.

I help my clients communicate their ideas by proofreading and copy-editing their texts, including translation checking (English to Spanish/French), whilst ensuring that written texts are clear, consistent and appropriate for the target audience. My clients come from a diverse range of sectors, including: humanitarian, security sector, health, European funding for research, luxury goods, development.

"Compared to other editors I have worked with, Jeanine Beck is one of the best, both in terms of quality and in her responsiveness and ability to successfully complete work on time."
